In addition to his role as a program officer, Mr. Neupane has gained valuable research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Helsinki (Nov 2023 – Feb 2024), working on a project focused on human-wildlife conflict in the buffer zones of Nepal’s protected areas. He has also served as a Field Enumerator for several projects, including the University of Western Australia’s study on the socio-economic impacts of buffer zone policies and the ILaM project on wildlife-induced damage in Nepal’s protected areas. His earlier roles, such as his work with Muktinath Darshan Pvt. Ltd. and the Forest Research and Training Centre in Kathmandu, have further strengthened his research, data collection, and environmental impact assessment skills.
