Dr. Mondal is a Principal Scientist in the Electrical & Heliborne Geophysics Group at CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad. He also serves as an Associate Professor at AcSIR. His expertise lies in groundwater exploration, hydrochemistry, and aquifer modeling. He played a pivotal role in India’s Aquifer Mapping (AQUIM) Project, utilizing electrical and heliborne geophysical surveys. He has authored 113+ research papers, 20 book chapters, and 50 technical reports and has mentored Ph.D. students and research trainees. His global collaborations have led him to present research in USA, Singapore, and Mauritius. 🌍
