Additional training includes pediatric neurosurgery in Brașov, reconstructive microsurgery in Italy, skull base surgery in Bucharest, and a visiting neurosurgeon stage in Marburg, Germany. He was Medical Director (2007–2009) and has been Manager of the National Institute since 2009. He has performed over 3,200 advanced neurosurgical procedures.
