By applying genome-wide analysis and bioinformatics, his team identifies disease-driving genes and develops novel diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies. A key interest is the tumor microenvironment and how cytoskeletal networks and nuclear architecture influence cancer stemness and metastasis.
