Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Mohamed Darwish is an accomplished Egyptian computer scientist and Associate Professor at both Assiut University in Egypt and the University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. He earned his academic degrees in computer science from Assiut University, where his doctoral and master’s research focused on digital image moments and efficient data mining algorithms. His professional experience spans extensive teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students across diverse computer science disciplines, including artificial intelligence, data mining, and image processing. Dr. Darwish’s research interests encompass image processing, digital watermarking, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, and image encryption, with numerous publications in top-tier journals such as Pattern Recognition, IEEE Access, Applied Soft Computing, and Multimedia Tools and Applications. He possesses strong research and analytical skills in computational algorithms, image analysis, and deep learning for multimedia applications. In addition to his academic duties, he serves as a scientific reviewer for several prestigious international journals published by Springer, Elsevier, IEEE, and MDPI. Recognized for his research excellence and leadership, he has completed multiple professional development programs in teaching, research ethics, and scientific publishing. Dr. Darwish continues to contribute significantly to advancing image processing and intelligent computing through innovative, interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.
