š Education
Wangdo Kim completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University in January 1979. His passion for advancing in the field led him to Lehigh University, where he earned a Masterās degree in October 1986, followed by a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in June 1991. Kimās academic journey continued with a postdoctoral fellowship in Orthopaedic Biomechanics at Lehigh in July 1992, where he further honed his expertise in biomechanics, setting a foundation for his extensive career in research and academia.

Wangdo Kim’s career includes a broad range of roles, from production management at Daewoo Heavy Industries and software engineering at Fujitsu Korea to leadership in CAD/CAM at Samsung Aerospace. His academic roles range from associate professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to his current position as a professor of biomechanics at UTEC. He has also held notable research positions at the Technical University of Lisbon and Portland State University.
