Dr. Adelakun holds a Ph.D. in Anatomy from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (2024), with a thesis focusing on cisplatin-induced pituitary-gonadal toxicity in male rats. He earned his M.Sc. in Anatomy from the University of Lagos in 2012 and a B.Tech. in Anatomy from Ladoke Akintola University in 2009. His academic journey reflects a deep commitment to advancing reproductive and neuroendocrine research, underpinned by rigorous scientific training.

Dr. Adelakun has been a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Anatomy at FUTA since 2016, progressing to Lecturer I in 2022. He is the Group Leader of the Neurobehavioral and Aging Laboratory, where he mentors students and oversees cutting-edge research. His previous roles include gross anatomy demonstrator and nursing tutor, which reflect his dedication to education and mentorship. He has also contributed as a volunteer in public health initiatives, including COVID-19 awareness and cancer prevention campaigns.
