Dr. Mondal is a Principal Scientist in the Electrical & Heliborne Geophysics Group at CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad. He also serves as an Associate Professor at AcSIR. He played a pivotal role in India’s Aquifer Mapping (AQUIM) Project, utilizing electrical and heliborne geophysical surveys. He has authored 113+ research papers, 20 book chapters, and 50 technical reports and has mentored Ph.D. students and research trainees. In 2021, he achieved university habilitation, recognizing his academic and research contributions.
