Szymon Florek is a passionate and dedicated physician and researcher in the field of psychiatry, currently pursuing his PhD at the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. Szymon began his academic journey at the 1st General Secondary School in Chrzanów, where he studied a biological-chemical-physical profile. He later graduated from the Silesian Medical University (2013-2019) with a degree in medicine, and since 2020, has been a doctoral student at the same university’s Department of Psychiatry.

 Work Experience

Szymon has amassed considerable professional experience in psychiatry. Since May 2023, he has worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Department of Psychiatry within the Medical University of Silesia. He is also a resident physician at the Clinical Department of Psychiatry in Tarnowskie Góry. Previously, he completed a postgraduate internship and gained experience as a resident physician at the Provincial Specialist Hospital No. 4 in Bytom.
