Profile

Education

She holds a Ph.D. in Econometrics and Machine Learning from the University of Orleans (2018–2022), where she investigated new machine learning approaches for financial fraud detection and survival analysis in the insurance industry under the supervision of S. Tokpavi. In addition, she earned a Data Science Certificate (Executive) from the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) in 2016–2017. Her academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering (Applied Statistics) from Paris-Sud University (2004–2007) and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Marmara in Istanbul (1995–1999). Since September 2022, she has been an Assistant Professor of Data Science at IPAG Business School in Nice and Paris. With extensive experience in the insurance sector, she integrates her professional insights into the classroom, emphasizing practical AI applications. Her curriculum reflects the latest trends in data science, fostering a dynamic learning environment tailored to students’ needs. She adapts resources and pedagogical methods to specific course objectives, utilizing tools such as Tableau for data visualization and exploring real-world business applications, including Netflix, Uber, ChatGPT, Gemini, and facial recognition technologies.

 

Work experience

She has held various academic and professional roles, combining her expertise in data science, machine learning, and business analytics. From September 2022 to January 2023, she was an adjunct faculty member at the International University of Monaco, where she taught Mathematics for Business. Prior to that, from September 2021 to August 2022, she served as an adjunct faculty member at IPAG Business School (Nice), teaching courses such as “Data Analysis for Business Management” (BBA3), “Data Processing” (MSc, e-learning), “Digital and Sales” (GEP 5th year), and “Introduction to Statistics” (BBA1). Between September 2020 and October 2021, she was an adjunct faculty member at EMLV (Paris), where she taught “Quantitative Data Analytics – SPSS” (GEP 4th year, hybrid learning) and supervised master’s theses for GEP 5th-year students.

In addition to her academic roles, she has extensive experience in the consulting and insurance sectors. From March to November 2020, she worked as a Senior Consultant at Fraeris (Paris), supporting clients in project development and providing technical solutions. She collaborated with the “Caisse de Prévoyance Sociale” (CPS) of French Polynesia, modeling healthcare expenditures using machine learning techniques. She developed predictive models to analyze healthcare costs from both the insured’s and CPS’s perspectives, offering actionable insights and data-driven forecasts to aid long-term financial planning. Prior to that, in 2019–2020, she was a Senior Manager in Pricing & Data P&C at Addactis (Paris), where she supported clients in project development, innovation, and strategic planning. As an expert referent for ADDACTIS® Pricing software, she worked on database processing for BNP Paribas Cardif, facilitating APLe software operations for quarterly account closings.

Education

He obtained his PhD in Applied Economics from Hunan University, where he studied from September 2010 to June 2014. Prior to that, he completed his master’s degree in International Trade at Jiangnan University between September 2006 and July 2008. His academic journey began at Henan Normal University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from September 2002 to July 2006.

Work experience

Since September 2022, he has been serving as an Associate Professor, Professor, and Master Supervisor at the Business School of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Prior to this, from June 2014 to August 2022, he worked at the International Business School of Henan University of Economics and Law as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Master Supervisor.

 

Achievement

He has authored several influential books, including Research on the Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on China’s Carbon Emissions (Economic Science Press, 2016), Foreign Direct Investment, Economic and Social Transformation and Environmental Pollution (China Financial and Economic Publishing House, 2017), and Economic and Social Transformation and Improvement of Local Government’s Environmental Governance (China Economic Publishing House, 2020).

His academic contributions have been recognized with multiple awards. He received the Third Prize of the Henan Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award (Provincial and Ministerial Level) in 2020 for his research on Environmental Governance of Local Governments with Spatial Relevance and Threshold Effect from the perspective of integrity. In 2019, he was awarded another Third Prize for his study on Local Government Tax Competition, Industrial Restructuring, and China’s Regional Green Development. Additionally, in 2016, his work on China’s Opening Up, Economic Transformation, and Low Carbon Economic Development earned him the Third Prize of the Hunan Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award.

Scientific Research Project

He has led several research projects funded by national and provincial institutions. Currently, he is hosting a General Program of the National Philosophy and Social Science Foundation (21BJY114), focusing on the Mechanism, Effect, and Policy of Digital Economy Promoting China’s Collaborative Governance of Carbon Smog (2021/9–2024/9).

Previously, he successfully completed a Youth Program of the National Philosophy and Social Science Foundation (15CGL042), which examined Anti-Corruption and Environmental Governance Improvement of Local Governments (2015/6–2019/12). He also led two provincial-level Soft Science Projects funded by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology: one on Industrial Transfer and Green Development of Henan’s Industry (162400410201, 2016/6–2017/9) and another on Enterprise Green Technology Innovation and Haze Pollution Control in Henan (202400410061, 2020/1–2021/6).

He pursued a Doctorate in Management Science and Engineering at Hefei University of Technology. Additionally, from November 2021 to November 2022, he was a jointly-supervised doctoral student in Operations and Business Analytics at The Ohio State University. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Hefei University of Technology from September 2013 to June 2017.

Work experience

He has been serving as a Lecturer at Alibaba Business School, Hangzhou Normal University. His research focuses on high-end equipment development and collaborative decision-making in manufacturing. He is the Principal Investigator (PI) for two ongoing projects. The first, funded by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China under the Youth Fund Project of Humanities and Social Sciences Research (Project No. 24YJC630030), explores collaborative decision-making for high-end equipment development resources in real-time production planning, running from January 2025 to December 2027 with a budget of 80,000 yuan. The second project, supported by the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation Committee under the Youth Fund Project (Project No. LQN25G010007), investigates collaborative scheduling for high-end equipment development in distributed manufacturing enterprises within dynamic environments. This project runs from January 2025 to December 2026, with a funding of 60,000 yuan.

Education

She completed her Doctorate in Physiology at Marmara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Turkey, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, she earned her Postgraduate degree in Orthopedic Rehabilitation from the same institute between 1999 and 2002. Her academic journey began with an Undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from Istanbul University, School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, where she studied from 1995 to 1999.

Research 

Her research focuses on physiotherapy and rehabilitation, with a strong academic background in the field. She has been serving as an Associate Professor at Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, since 2021. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Professor from 2016 to 2021 and as a Lecturer from 2011 to 2015 at the same institution.

She has been actively involved in various research projects in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, supervising both postgraduate and doctoral students. Her ongoing research includes a randomized controlled trial on graded motor imagery as an adjunct to physiotherapy in chronic rotator cuff-related pain and an investigation into the sensorimotor representation of body schema in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis compared to healthy individuals. In 2024, she supervised a postgraduate study on the effect of manual lymph drainage in treating breast edema in patients undergoing breast-conserving surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy. Additionally, she is leading a doctoral study examining the effects of tactile stimulation, swimming exercise, or their combination on oxidative stress, inflammation, amyloid beta, neurogenesis, neurotrophic factors, and molecular signaling in an Alzheimer’s model. Her recent research includes a 2023 retrospective study on the effects of tumor type and treatments on lymphedema levels in breast cancer patients undergoing complex decongestive lymphedema therapy. She also supervised a 2021 postgraduate study exploring the effects of swimming exercise, low-level laser, or their combination on degeneration, inflammation, oxidative stress, utrophin protein, and irisin peptide in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (MDX) mice.

She graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing in 2010. From 2010 to 2015, she worked at Hacettepe University Hospitals Psychiatry Clinic. Since 2015, she has been working at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Psychiatric Nursing. She completed her PhD program in 2020. Between 2014 and 2021, she received Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy training organized by the Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies and was certified as a Cognitive Therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy in 2020. She continues her work in this field.

Dr. S. Khodarahimi holds multiple academic degrees in psychology, including a B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Shiraz University, Iran (1987), and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Meshed Ferdowsi University, Iran (1994), where he achieved a GPA of 18.93. He earned his first PhD in Clinical Psychology from Atlantic International University, USA, in 2005, with a GPA of 3.76. Further advancing his expertise, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2010, receiving an “Excellent” rating. In 2020, he obtained a second PhD in Psychology from Lorestan University, achieving a remarkable GPA of 19.61. His research has focused on various aspects of psychology, including psychotherapy, personality structures, workplace stress, and sleep and dream quality in individuals with anxiety disorders.

Work experience

Dr. S. Khodarahimi has held several academic and administrative positions throughout his career. From 2000 to 2022, he served as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Islamic Azad University, Eghlid Branch. Additionally, between 2000 and 2006, he held the role of Vice President for Research at the same institution and was a member of the Research Council for the First Zone of Islamic Azad University.

His earlier academic roles include serving as a contractual faculty staff member in the Psychology Department at Bavanat Payam Nour University, Fars, Iran (1999–2002), and as a faculty staff member of the Research Group for Behavioral Sciences at the Iranian Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research (ACECR), Shiraz (1998–1999). Prior to that, from 1994 to 1997, he was a contractual faculty member in the Psychology Department at Chamran Ahwaz University, Ahwaz, and contributed to the Research Group for Social Psychology at ACECR, Ahwaz.

Dr. Khodarahimi’s leadership experience includes serving as the Dean of the Research Center for Psychological Services in Shiraz, Fars, from 1990 to 1992, highlighting his longstanding commitment to psychological research and education.

Dr. S. Khodarahimi has an extensive teaching and training background, spanning multiple universities and covering a wide range of psychology courses.

From 1993 to 1997, at Chamran Ahwaz University, he taught courses such as Mental Health, Personality Theories, Principles of Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology (1), Theories of Psychotherapy, and Introduction to Diagnostic and Therapeutic Methods.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology from Payame Noor University of Abadeh Center in 2014, where he conducted a research project titled Comparison of Early Maladaptive Schemas Among Three Groups of Men Dependent on Opium, Under Treatment, and Non-Dependent Over 15 Years of Age in Shiraz City. In 2023, he completed his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the Islamic Azad University, Kish International Branch. From 2019 to 2024, he worked as a Psychologist at the Social Emergency Center under the Welfare General Bureau of Fars Province in Shiraz, Iran.
