Jerry Ogutu Sumba completed his secondary education at Nyakhobi Secondary School (2012-2015), earning a B (plain). He pursued his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Embu, graduating with First Class Honors in December 2020. Currently, he is completing his Master’s degree in Economics at the same institution (2021-2024).

Jerry began his professional journey as an intern in the Credits Department at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) from May to September 2019. He then interned in the University Finance Department from February to June 2021. Subsequently, he served as a Graduate Assistant in the Finance Department from July 2021 to August 2024. Currently, he is a Teaching Assistant at the University of Embu’s School of Business and Economics (September 2024 – present).
